我们所有参加考试的学生现已顺利通过美国帆船协会101航行考试。在过去短短的几个月里，他们从紧紧抱着一艘船紧张万分的年轻学生蜕变成了自信的Ulink航海先锋。

他们可以告诉你风吹拂的方向，帆船会发生什么，该朝哪个方向旋转帆，船会朝哪个航向行驶。总之，他们有能力可以很好的控制一艘帆船。

十月下旬，我和Pre B的Steven，Pre C的Ghost还有其他三个学生一起去了独墅湖。那天风很大，但我们不得不用画大的数字“8”的方式操纵船。每次我们大幅度转弯时，帆桁会飞跃到另一面，你要冲到升高的那一边因为你会感觉到重力在把你往下拉，同时，船会在几秒钟之内就旋转180度。没有教练在船上，他们就掌控着我的人生！

总的来说，我们都坚持了下来而且学生们都做的非常棒。这篇文章中的照片展示的是另一个更平静的一天，让你的生活充满刺激冒险和让你的手机去冒险可完全是两回事儿。

当我得知我成功进入了帆船社，我非常的兴奋。在最初的几节课，教练教授了我们一些关于帆船的理论知识，例如帆船的类型，帆船的不同部分和风的不同种类。当我在听教练的讲解时，我不认为帆船有我想象的那么困难。但是当我自己控制船的时候，我发现我错了。把船保持在正确的方向是一件非常具有挑战性的事情，同时，在同一艘船上的成员们应该彼此靠近以使船可以顺利航行。在学习帆船期间，我提高了我的团队精神和快速行动的能力。我真的很喜欢帆船社。

帆船社是个非常有趣和令人兴奋的社团。它可以帮助你提高你的技能。我在这个社团里学到了很多东西，我们学习了如何控制船只。同时这个社团也改善了同学们之间的关系。此外我们还学习了很多关于合作的技巧，因为在帆船的航行中最重要的就是如何合作。如果我们想要做的很好，我们必须团结在一起紧密合作。我非常喜爱帆船，现在它已经成为我的爱好之一。

Allexamination students have now passed the American Sailing Association 101sailing exam.  In these last few months,they have gone from young students nervously clinging to a boat to confidentUlink nautical pioneers. 

Theycan tell you which way the wind is blowing, what’s going to happen to the boat,in which orientation to swivel the sail and what heading the boat will end upin.  In short, they are able to control asailing boat.

Inlate October I went out on to Du Shu Lake with Steven (Pre B), Ghost (Pre C) andthree other students.  The wind wasstrong but we had to maneuver the boat in a large figure of ‘8’.  Each time we turned sharply, the boom wouldfly across, you would rush to the raised side as you felt gravity pull you down,and the boat would swivel 180 degrees in just a few seconds.  With no instructor on board my life was intheir hands! 

Sufficeto say, we all survived and the students did a great job.  The photos in this article show a much calmerday – risking your life is one thing but risking your camera phone is QUITEanother.

I was very excited when I knew Ientered the Sailing Club.  The first fewclasses, the coach taught us some theory knowledge about sailing such as typesof sailing boat, different parts of the sailing boat and different kinds ofwind.  When I was listening to the coach,I didn’t think sailing was as difficult as I had imagined.  But when I controlled the boat myself, I foundI was wrong.  It’s very challenging tokeep the boat in the proper direction. Also, the members of one boat should work close with each other to letthe boat move smoothly.  During sailing,I improved my team spirit and ability to act fast.  I really like sailing club.

Sailing club is a very interestingand exciting club.  It can help youimprove your skills.  I have learned manythings in this club – we study how to control the vessels.  It improved the relationship betweenstudents.  And also we learned manyskills about cooperation because the most important thing in sailing is how tocooperate.  If we want to do well, wemust work together very closely.  I likesailing very much.  Now it has become oneof my hobbies.
