The beauty is always seen by the people who are always looking for it.
Suzhou is an ancient city and there are many places of interest. Today our guide Mr. Heand our teacher Paul led us to visit two tourist sites--Shan Tang Jie and TigerHill.
We went to Shan Tang Jie by underground. There were many old buildings which enjoyed a long history. Mr. He told us something about the characteristics ofthe building.
Look at this picture, the architecture was used for draining away water.
We went along the street; we saw different shops which sold local goods.
The building was just like a work of art.
Mr. He also introduced us some interesting and famous buildings.
The gate of Tiger Hill located at the end of Shan Tang Jie.
We bought tickets and we can see the tower in the distance.
We saw some carriages while walking along the street.
We went on walking and stood near a bridge.
It was a special bridge. In the past, the outside was a nursery school.
Look at this nice pattern, there was a sun in the center which meant lucky and happiness.
We also visited other spots. Here are some pictures.
There was the Guan Yin statue in this tower.
Look at this, it was a leaning tower.
Well, it was a tiring but interesting day. We should have an eye for beauty. Theworld is so big, we should explore.Trust me, the beauty is surrounding you.

Today, I enjoyed the monthly school outdoor activity. With a feeling of honor and pride, I had a taste of the charm of the culture of southern China. Through an explanation which was full of passion, I found Suzhou was really in the history of deposition that contained a kind of cultural humanity breath.
I found that southern buildings of China were characteristic in many ways such as the structures and the sculptures. The garden was also excellent for the harmonious collocation. For example, the well-grown green trees perfectly matched the white-painted wall, which eventually created a fairyland just like the paradise. I took a lot of pictures and felt pleased!
During the journey, I felt quite regrettable that several historic buildings were destroyed in varying degrees owing to a couple of unsuccessful movements and rebuilt with purposes of making money. So, under this situation, I think more people were supposed to act more logically and contributed to precious things!
In conclusion, my experience was really unforgettable and
meaningful not only because of the beautiful scenery but also I had valuable understanding! Such an excellent event it was! I’m looking forward to the
travel next time!

It was a sunny and special day.We set out on the weekend trip with high expectation. In order to touch themost original life of local people, we chose the subway and bus as our vehicle, since none of us are locals.
We met our guide at the subwaystation. He was a kind-looking man who was in middle age. Our journey beganwith an old, classical and narrow alley. It was difficult to identify whetherthe crowd made the alley seemed narrow or the narrow alley made the crowdseemed congested. In this Suzhou-styled alley, which was called San TangStreet, there was a mixture of tourism and local people. The old and low houseslied along the curved river. Countless PaiFang which were built in the ancienttime provided numerous shelters for the long-stayed people. However, a largeamount of buildings and temples were damaged by human beings in the past. WhenI stared at the remains of the terrific designed and extraordinary sculptures, Ifelt a strong feeling of admiration indeed. Meanwhile, I felt an upset feelingand guilty after I saw the broken part and the unclear backside of Paifang.
Then we went to the Tiger Hillwhich I have been to during the summer vacation. This tiny hill enjoined a longhistory. Our enthusiastic guide told us a lot of interesting legends, fromwhich we learned a lot, such as the magical Hanhan Spring, the strange-lookingLianjian Stone, Sword Pond and the Qianrenzuo. We had a good time walking inthe path along the dense trees and breathing the fresh air on the hill.
When we finished our shorttrip, the sun had already given his controlling right to the darkness. It wasquite a tiring day, but we've learned something much more profound than thebeautiful scenery.
